Ernest Chemists Limited (ECL) confirmed its position as the leading pharmaceutical company in Ghana last Friday- 30th July 2021, at the Ghana Pharma Awards as they received the highest and most prestigious awards for the night. ECL was adjudged Retailer of the Year, Brand of the Year, Excellence in Customer Service and Manufacturer of the Year. The CEO of Ernest Chemists Limited, Mr. Ernest Bediako Sampong was also adjudged the Entrepreneur of the Year, which was the ultimate award for the ceremony.
The 3rd edition of the Ghana Pharma Summit and Awards, was held under the theme, “Positioning Ghana Pharma Industry for the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) and Vaccine Production”. The event, which is aimed at celebrating excellence in the pharmaceutical industry in Ghana, took place at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel and awarded over 40 individuals and companies.
Receiving the award on behalf of the CEO of Ernest Chemists Limited, the General Manager (Operations), Mr. Yaw Bediako Sampong expressed his appreciation to the event organizations – Globe Productions, for continually providing a platform that recognizes individuals and companies that play significant roles in the growth and development of the pharmaceutical industry.
